Hey all started takin wellbutrin sr, well the generic form of it.
Anywhoo, I am on 150mg 2xs a day one @ 7am & one @ 3pm. It was workin great but I can not sleep at night if I take it at 3pm. If I do fall asleep, I wake numerous times & sometimes can't go back to sleep. There are times when I am up till 3-4am. I have to take a sleeping pill in order to go to sleep & stay asleep, I am scared I will get "addicted" to sleeping pills.
I need my sleep I am a stay home mommy of 3girls, one I am home with all day!!!!
Anyone else been on Welltrin SR/Bupropion SR
Blessings to all!!!

Hi Redneck,
May I suggest you ask your doctor if you can move your second dose up to Noon? That may help a bit with the sleep troubles.

Welcome to PC!
Best,
Okie

Yeah, Okie has a good idea--try taking the second dose earlier. I take them close together without a problem.

Definately move it up to morning. It works by "activating" the part of your brain that makes you more alert and active. That is part of why it helps to decrease depression (and sometimes causes less appetite).
