My pdoc has put me on Geodon because of some weird things I have been seeing and hearing. Every since I have had the shakes and feeling like I want to throw-up. Has anyone else had these side effects. They told me that I need to take it with a meal. I would appreciate some help. I can hardly stand it. pj56

PJ I had the shakes so bad that I had to get off of it. The med worked great for me and I was very upset to be taken off of it.

Ill took it it allmost killed me my thoat closed up and I couldnt breath which is one of the side effects . Which is one of many but there are other meds. thay can give you to stop geodons side effects but that just didnt make sense to me.

thatks for the post. i thought maybe i should go to the er last night but i took a lorazepam i found. it helped some. now my psdoc tells me to up the seroquel instead if the lorazepam, drugs don't make sense to me. i will see her on monday pj 56

Hi pj
I hope your visit went well today. I take geodon and do well with it, no side effects for me. The conversations in my head have stopped and I haven't felt like scratching any ones off in months!  I hope you find something that works.
