I started zoloft four days ago. I am taking 25 mg along with 7.5 mg of lexapro.
Today I take 50 mg of the zoloft and reduce the lexapro to 5 mg. Then after 2 weeks I will eliminate the lexapro entirely. Pdoc is weaning me slowly due to high sensitive to meds but I AM ZONKED. I am so so tired and I have sooo much to do at work this week. Any ideas? I'm taking it with the evening meal/about dinner time.

I would think the combo of Lexapro and Zoloft is causing you to be more tired than you would have been w/ Zoloft alone. I remember starting Zoloft and I was very tired, as was my mom, who has been on Zoloft for 4389 years.
Ideas? Hmmm.... Well you are taking it at a good time. 6 cups of coffee per day? No, you eliminated caffiene, didn't you? I hate to say, but I don't think there is anything you can do except wait until it gets worked into your system. It should get a little better each day. I remember when I started my combo of Lexapro, Lithium, and Klonopin there were days in the beginning when I literally couldn't pick my head up... and then slowly it got a little better each day. It sucks because it pretty much takes over your body and there isn't much you can do to combat it. |
