Hi.
I did some looking for you on the net and found that one of the side effects of Lexapro is nervousness. Could that be what's causing you to be really talkative and hyper??? Do you suffer from mania? Bipolar? Because the drug indications say that someone who suffers from it should be closely monitored on this medication because it can make the condition worse....and may need adjustment. Just a thought. If you want to look up the information on your meds, there is a link on this site and also, my favorite: http://www.medlineplus.org There are several with reliable information and actually Lexapro has an official site. http://www.lexapro.com Hope this helps a little bit. You might can find more information that makes more sense on those sites. Take Care, Kimberly |

That is fascinating how different people react so differently to a med. My husband was on lexapro, & gave it enough time according to my psychiatrist (he is seeing my psychiatrist) to have the side effects go away. He was like being in another world. While at my psychologist, he sat there in a daze, & when we were talking, he would just say something that had nothing to do with anything being said. When I would talk to him around the house, he would stare at me with a blank look of his face as if he wasn't really there. I pointed out how he was acting to him & my psychiatrist. Needless to say, it was stopped soon after that because there was no way I could put up with that. He is like that normally, so who needs a drug to make it worse?

You should definitely report it to your doc. I'm sorry you're going through this rollercoaster ride. It's tough. I hate meds too. Now that I'm on one that works, I feel 150% better though.
((hugs)) dear, if you want them. Kimberly |
