At some point, pdoc said one of the things I am on/he was putting me on/something like that might cause hand tremors. I, with my notoriously rotten short-term memory, haven't a clue which it was. Plus, I had surgery on my left arm a few years ago and never got PT for it (long story), so it's never really recovered all that well, strength-wise.
However, the last few days I am noticing the other arm noticeably shaking, too. I tried to hold a plate on my lap this afternoon and couldn't. I can't lift a frying pan off the stove with one hand, or even a frozen dinner out of the microwave, without being in danger of dropping it if I can't set it down within 5 or 10 seconds. I am on: Zoloft, Depakote, Glucophage (for diabetes), Lisinopril (for high blood pressure) and Coumadin (for my clotting disorder). Anybody got any ideas, I'd love to hear them. ty Candy |

{{{{{{{{{Candy}}}}}}}}} I was on Depakote for a long time and the tremors were so bad that I had to change meds. I had to keep my hands in my lap so that it wasn't noticeable. It was horrible. The higher dose I was on, the worse it got.
Good luck. ![]() Mary Alice |

I started with hand tremors after starting depakote-- get some twitching also. I've been told that lowering the dose may help but they haven't wanted to do it yet. Guess it's got to get worse
