i have recently been awaked by my psychiatrist after taking this heavy sedative-800mg / day for almost a year. life has passed me by and leaving me in a state of confusion. i also experience tarditive kinesis to the point that i couldn't express my true ideas due to lack of muscle control in my face. if there is anyone that has regained sanity from this medicine please contact me and let me know of a known pathway to regaining optimum mental health.
concerned for my emotional stability.

That sounds like a HUGE dose to me!
I take 100-300 mg a day, but in that range it keeps me calm and makes reality more consistent.

I'm on a variable dose so I can manage symptoms more effectively. I can tell I'm getting over-medicated when I start slowing down, getting sluggish, foggy and confused all the time. I can tell I'm getting undermedicated when I speed up, reality starts to get loopy, I can't think straight or life doesn't make sense.

Within that range, I feel closer to sane than I ever believed possible.
