how do you know if you should take more prozac? the pdoc prescribed 40 mg for me back in May. I only just recently started taking 30, 2 months ago. but i'm feeling kind of zombie-like. sleeping a lot. not sad. just very placid. not working, not doing dishes, not doing laundry.
i don't know if I should raise the dose or just try to get better sleep and find some people to talk to. i'm really isolated. reasons against: not too many ocd issues at the moment (environment is low-stress) don't want to risk side effects it's a long story but i might not have health insurance next year and in my current prescription / dosage i have extra pills that i can save up. reasons for: i was in fact prescribed 40 mg am zombie, getting no work done will probably have insurance of some kind, or enough money to pay cash for a little while. what do you think? My PNP gives me assessments for my conditions that she is treating me for. Like an assessment for depression or ADHD. She repeats them every so often and compares my scores to previous times. This can help her figure out if I need more or less of something. She also asks for my input, and considers if I am having negative side effects.
Can you go to your pdoc, have a talk about your symptoms, and see what he/she suggests?

Prozac made me feel numb and I didn't like that.
Do you have a therapist? Having a therapist to talk with can be the right 'medicine' too. |

thanks you guys. i don't see a therapist at the moment. I could go back to my old one and maybe I will do that. I didn't much like my pdoc and I figured he would say just take the 40 like you were supposed to, but on the other hand, he's a doctor and i'm not. so...
anyway thanks ![]() |
