day one of not taking it anymore. i saw my pdoc last week and told him i feel the way i did way back over a year ago when the other pdoc had me do the runs with i dont know how many AD's. They all made me feel worse. Wellbutrin included. Well when i saw him last week he doubled it. Now not a day goes by i hit that deep black hole and well, you know what happens there. In the process of taking wellbutrin the past two months i've come up with numerous different plans. So in order to get away from all that i'm not taking it anymore. No more wellbutrin for me.
I figure it can only get better not taking it anymore. |

Just make sure you keep tabs on how it's going and that someone else knows. I quit Wellbutrin cold turkey and had symptoms basically identical to having the worst flu in my life. It got better after two weeks. I quit for different reasons than you, but I just wanted to let you know to be careful. It was a good thing that I my T knew what I was doing and my parents were around to make sure I didn't get too dehydrated.
I hope all goes well and that you are able to find something that works for you. ![]()

Hi icky dog, sorry you got the flu like symptons from quitting the wellbutrin. And thank you for sharing your experience with us.
I dont know exactly what day i'm on now of quitting the wellbutrin myself. I can't tell but a littl bit of a difference. And it seems to be on the better side. Heck i do good getting my butt of this wellbutrin, i might just try it with another med i'm on. I havent said anything to my pdoc or counsler about this and well no one else knows either. Except those who've read this. But i'm fine. chal |
