My cousin was a rapid cycler and lithkium worked wonders for him. Not sure what the other is for, but I know lithium has worked well for many.

Lithium is for my Bi-polar, and the Seroquel is to help regulate my sleep patterns. Last nite was first dose....was out in 15-20 minutes. Woke up feeling like I had cotton balls in my head.

I guess I'm asking if anybody else is on either or both of these, and has any insight as to what I can expect as far as side effects and so on.

Thanks gang!

I've been on both. I'm not bipolar, yet they put me on lithium, and it didn't have an effect on me (I still have no idea why they put me on Lithium). Seroquel helped me fall asleep, and my pdoc said it might help with the depression too.

Cat,

No depression here, just raging mania and insomnia. Its gonna take 4-6 weeks to get the full effect from the meds, but I dont care as long as it gets me back to work.

Thanks for the input!
