For all of you who are in group therapy, I have a few questions for you:

1) How did you find it? My old pdoc reccomended taht I attend some group therapy, but I was closed to the idea at the time. Now that I've progressed in my therapy, I feel like it would be a really good idea for me. Now that I've been looking, I can't find any groups in my area.

2) How effective are they, and how do they usually run?

I had group therapy a while back. A facilator normally directs the group, mine was run from the treatement centre I attended. Sorry I can not offer much more info than this, I'm not sure if others here have experience of group or not.

You could call and ask at your local mental health clinic. Or try looking up your local NAMI group and calling them. Or an any T or pdoc you were/are seeing.

Doesn't make me feel better, no meaning to me for sure.
Can't stop you from praying and blessing me,
and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."
