My pdoc wears designer scrubs - you know scrubs with animals or flowers on them. I thought it was a little weird at first but I guess it makes her comfortable and she does work in a hospital.
My main T dresses semi casual, almost always black pants, white shirt, and a casual blazer. I don't think I've ever seen her wear jewelery, not even earings. My addictions Dr. is really dressy, she has the most amazing collection of really pretty and unusual dresses I've ever seen. She's got a real sense of style, except when it comes to her hair. She's badly in need of a stylist. Oh and she never wears jewelery either. Come to think of it, none of them wear jewelery - maybe it's a T thing. --splitimage |

My T wears jewelry! Chains and belts. I guess belts aren't jewelry, but I always notice unusual belts because I never wear them.

My T wears jewlery as well, more earthtone ones. Some of them are funky but I like them.
She complemented me on one of my necklaces one time, and I told her I had made it. So the next week I brought her in 2 sets (necklaces and bracelets) that I made for her. She said that her policy is not to take gifts but then said that she would take them. I wrote her and email later apologizing saying I would never have made them and brought them in had I known that. She responded back that the jewlery was beautiful, that I was very talented. Then she said that she loved them and was very happy to have them, and thanked me. I just started making jewlery, its very relaxing and fun. __________________ Hangingon When you feel your nearing the end of your rope tie a knot and hang on !!! |

Fallenangel337. She is a counsler with the family services where i go. She came in from the West coast in 2006 to help in the relief after the storm. She said she is addicted to tattoos and she is proud to show them off. She has some pretty tat's too. Sometimes she gives the background on how a tattoo on her came to be and for some reason it always relates to what were talking about. Makes me want to get a tat but im too scared of needles.

My "therapist" wore a tuxedo. And bunny slippers. I think the bunny slippers were to help put me at ease. He was available 24 hours a day for about six weeks straight. I was his only client. In addition to therapy he also provided housekeeping and cooking services and once, helped me wash my hair because I couldn't lift my arms. He also did not ask for any form of monetary payment.
As for me, I wore pajamas throughout the entire period. Anyway, that's what you get in the wardrobe department when your "therapist" comes to you via an altered state of consciousness. The formality of the tuxedo matched his demeanor and the bunny slippers seemed quite fitting and occasionally, revealing of his own inner conflicts. He was the best therapist I ever could have had; better even than I had imagined anyone could be. Music of the Hour: Gallagher's Song .

What a funny thread to read the day before an appt to see my pdoc! I can picture my pdoc's clothes, sort of. Longish skirst and cute tops. Shoes vary. My T wears pants suits mostly, I think, but I don't notice her clothes. Just her hair, which rarely changes. I think I pay more attention to their faces and hair and mostly ignore their clothes. I'm sure I'll notice tomorrow, though.

This thread is amusing to read. My T wears pretty casual clothes. I think. I recall her one day wearing a navy cotton jacket, and i'm pretty sure she was wearing navy track pants aswell. She is a travelling T though so she probably doesn't have a boss close by telling her to dress proffesionaly. Although, this memory could be somehow altered or not real so, yeah. She may dress like most ppls. My Pdoc whom I haven't seen for AGES (i live in the middle of nowhere) wears nice semi formal pants and a lab coat because she is a senior specialist or something. I only see her via tele-conferance.
