I have started ipts Intensive psychotherapy treatment. Its a group therapy and it is three days a week, from 9am to 4pm. Its very draining, But i really look faward to going because everyone there is so nice and caring about each other. Down side is that i have talk about me and my demons i have hid away for so long.

wouldn't it just be awesome if we could surround ourselves with supportive people all the time (and never have to deal with those demons )?

i'm glad ipts is working well for you. 9am-4pm sounds so intense!! i can barely sit through uni for a few hours, and therapy is a lot more draining (for me).

how many weeks does this go on for, or is it something you can stop whenever?

Susierose,

I'm glad that the group has a supportive atmosphere! I'll be curious to hear how things go for you.

The therapy lasts a 12 months, Then when thats finished they will arrange other therapy which will only be 1 day a week. We have art therapy, drama therapy and group therapy. I had quite a rough day today as it all seemed to center around my problems, felt a bit unfair. but i live to see another day and thats what counts.
