providing you've got a competent T, he or she can help you get through this "stuckness", finding words often times helps you see that its not so much stuck as feeling feelings that are from a very young pre vebal time and are desperate for some sense to made of them...for words to be put to them.

Do you mean that you're "stuck" as in a place you can't get out of in your therapy work? Or do you mean that you're "stuck" because you are too involved with your therapy to back out now? I'm thinking it's the latter. I really hope you see it through Crystalrose. Dealing with the pain now will hopefully make you feel better in the long run.
![]() Sometimes I find myself wishing now that I had dealt with my pain at your age instead of waiting until I was nearly 40. If I had, I might have been a therapist now myself. And all of those years I wasted being afraid...I hope you don't make the same mistakes that I did. I hope you choose to go on with your therapy. |

Did you think about if you want to quit before you "have" to so it doesn't seem like your T is abandoning you? So you don't have to talk about doing without her? I'm sorry if these questions are painful, but I think you're stuck because you know you have to talk about ending the therapy with your current T. Or did that change?
Have you told your T that you feel stuck? She's there to help you. I know from my own therapy how hard it can be to face your feelings, but it's really better to do it than not to. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
