I KNOW I have said this a zillion times, but I had SUCH a hard summer with T, with no consistency, all kinds of vacations, and a funeral, and I don't know what else. I don't think we EVER had more than two consistent weeks in a row before there was another break. Things just sort of fell apart for us, and we JUST found our way back to each other, when we finally had three weeks in a row of our normal appointment schedule. Such a huge relief (for both of us, I'm sure).

Anyhow, now I have flu/bronchitis/sinus infection (saw dr today), and had to miss session today, and more than likely will miss Thursday. I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT. It's like we are DESTINED to never have consistent therapy.

I talked to T today and he said all the right things, but it was hard to really connect on the phone. I know he wants me to trust that everything will be okay, and I want to trust that, but...blah! I would give anything for some consistency.

Just venting.

I know that time away from your normal time with T is difficult, especially since it's your body that's preventing you from going=( I had a difficult time with bronchitis last winter - Ugh!

I'm thinking about you and know that you will get back to the regular routine!

Sorry to hear you were to sick to go today...I hope you feel better soon...
I was going to write something else, but I keep getting distracted by all those crazy smilies Antimatter used, especially the first one, and giggling kind of spoils the mood...I hope they made you laugh too!
Thanks for this!

Hey! I wonder if T will just go ahead and take the rest of the week off to go on the T camping trip. I'm sure he won't mind canceling all of the other clients' sessions since I'm not coming in.

OMG! I took this cough med the dr gave me for the first time last night, thinking a good night's sleep would be nice. The side effects said: may cause drowsiness, may cause excitability. I was like, . But he specifically gave it to me to help me sleep, so I took it..

AND I WAS UP ALMOST ALL NIGHT with crazy racing thoughts. I kept getting up and writing them down and laying down and thinking, ahh, that's over, and then new thoughts would creep in...really crazy stuff, stuff that we haven't talked about in therapy yet, little details from my childhood..

Anyhow, I'm a MESS this morning. NO sleep, the tail end of this cold, and a giant list of "where my brain goes when my mind is racing".

Should be a fun session

Ack! Are bringing your list into t? Funny thing, sometimes when I am totally exhausted in therapy my defenses are downand its a more "open" type of session...
or sometimes...just exhausted and dizzy
Glad you are seeing him tho, post and let us know
