My pdoc is on medical leave, I really hope it's not serious. Her secretary just left me a message cancelling me for this week and saying she'd reschedule the appointment with another dr. I hate seeing other pdoc's due to bad experiences in the past. How do i explain that I'm suicidal but won't act on it? My pdoc gets this.
I really hope my pdoc gets well soon and is able to come back to work.  --splitimage

i hope your pdoc gets well soon. I really think you should see the replacement pdoc, maybe if you explain that your having suicidal thoughts but your not going to act on then then the pdoc will be reassured that you will be safe.

i just sent a letter like that to my own t where i stated explicitly that i am safe, but the alters were sui and that they were really not wanting to tell because last time we went through this T wanted me hospitalized, and i really had to fight it. So i stated over and over that i was safe, even tho this other side was happening. She said she understood. Best luck!!! those are really tricky!!!
