T is going on vacation, so I am going to be missing a couple of appointments with him. It scares me a little, after all of our ruptures of the summer around his breaks and my breaks. I am supposed to see him tomorrow, and then not until next Thursday...so I will be missing two appointments.

There is MAJOR flooding where I live (including in my basement - ugh!). I just went out to try to buy a shop vac to deal with the water in the basement, and I couldn't get to the store because so many roads were closed due to flooding. I realized that it's going to be REALLY hard for me to get to T tomorrow, because it's supposed to keep raining. So I left a message for T, who called back and left a message for me that you can only get to his office from one direction right now, because the road is closed in the other direction, and he's not sure it will be possible to get there at all by tomorrow

I had asked if he had any appointments on Wednesday (thinking that it might stop raining by then) but his Wednesday is full.

He wants to touch base over the phone, so I left him another message and I guess he'll call me later. I saw him on Thursday, so if I can't see him tomorrow, it will be a 2 week break

Blah! I just want to see T!

Thanks for letting me whine.

((((((Tree)))))) I'm sorry this is happening, especially so soon after the summer breaks. I hope you'll be able to see him tomorrow

I hate it when there is a break in t- it makes me so sad. But T said he will call you, so he obviously doesnt want to miss your session either. If you cant see him tomorrow are there things you could ask him/talk about over the phone to keep you connected while he is away?

(((((Tree)))) That is awful! If he cant get there then there is no choice. But maybe the one direction will be open tomorrow and you can go and he can get there. If not, did he say you can have a phone session?

He does take a lot of vacations. Where is he going?????

It seems likes EVERYTHING is trying to keep us from seeing T sometimes. I'm SO sorry this happened. Just remember we're here for you. We'll get through this!

The man takes SO. MANY. VACATIONS. I'm glad he's so into self-care, because I know it helps him be there for me....but come ON! He goes away EVERY weekend in the summer, and then for entire weeks a few times. Plus this week in September.

He always goes to the same beach - I think his family has a house or something there. Which makes vacations WAY too affordable for him!!!!

We did talk on the phone today. He seems sure he'll be in his office tomorrow. I am really really hoping there is a way for me to get there from here. I'm quite sure I'll let all of you know either way!!

LOL bloom!

I was just looking at a list of roads that are closed and found out that the intersection at the end of my street (the only way out of my neighborhood) is closed!! AND the only way out of T's neighborhood is closed too. We're trapped!! @_@ I have the option of going at 1 or 3 tomorrow - I'm hoping H will be home and things will clear up enough that I can (and T can) get out by then. yikes!

(((treehouse))) It seems like you really have had some bad luck with scheduling a long string of appoints where you can get back into the flow of therapy again. I'm assuming you are in the area of the country that was highlighted on ABC World news. THAT TOTALLY SUCKS.

To bad you guys couldn't get temporarily and safely trapped in your Ts office for a few hours, huh. Can you imagine getting rained or snowed in at your Ts office? Maybe with no power so you both literally had nothing else to do by chat with each other. IDK... for me it would be a lot better than being stuck at home or on the highway in traffic somewhere.

TH, I hope you can make it to T. I hate when outside events hinder this, makes it feel so much more desperate.
