I was referred to my T by a close friend who is also a T. My T is in private practice but shares the building with other therapists. I hardly ever see other clients waiting in the waiting room.

T1: she was my boss few years ago. I started going to art therapy, she was the T there. Then I ended up in individual therapy with her. Didn't work out for many reasons, one of them being that she was my former boss.
T2: just googled city+therapist, found a couple of pages and chose a T whos page looked the most logical to me, plus it was obvious it is updated quite often, plus it had all the basic info, like her CV, a few words about her, a natural photo (not one of those photoshop creations), price (which was important to me as I was going pay the whole amount out of my pocket and I was too shy to call and ask about price) and map how to get there. She also gave her email among other contact details, which made everything so much easier for me as I was too shy to make a call. She has a private practice.
