I survived my session.

How it ended up going was really unexpected, and I'm afraid to say a lot about it because I know D.I.D. isn't totally accepted on this board. The good news is that I think we managed to avoid a rupture.

I did tell T that he sounded angry on the phone yesterday, and he knew just the moment I was talking about - he was talking to me in the car and had just realized that he was completely on the wrong side of town for an appointment he had in a few minutes. Once he got himself going in the right direction, he said he was fine...and it's true that he didn't sound angry at the end of the phone call. I am WAY TOO tuned in to people's moods.

Anyhow, everything is okay. We didn't talk about the 8 y/o stuff...but we talked some more about not talking about it.

Thanks for the support today. I feel pretty shaky still. Just going to try to keep myself sort of busy and distracted with my sweet boys.

Thanks for this!

I'm glad your session went well, Tree! I know what you mean by being too tuned in to others' emotions. I'm the same way, and it makes life quite difficult!

I knew you could do it!! I'm so glad you went, and T could reassure you. I love your T! Oh, tree, take gentle loving care. Baby yourself tonight.
