I couldn't quite grasp what it was I wanted to say to T today...amongst the tears I was forcing myself to just say what came to my mind, no matter how disjointed it seemed.
of course it was based around The break and how do I fit into all of it, cept that wasn't easy to formulate, but i suddenly remeMbered asking my adoptive mother when I was very small if she had, had to show me round each room when she first brought me home? I remember her saying, "don't be stupid", so I said this to T today and added that I don't know what I was really wanting when I asked my adoptive mother that question, but the shame I felt after burns me.

T said, "I think you were asking her if you belonged there?" and I knew that fit, and said, yeah, yeah thats what I was asking and with that, T sais "you do belong here too"....

Safe tender hugs to your little one who was asking that hard question all those years ago!
