My counseller will be leaving college soon. She's pregnant. I'm getting a new counseller. Feel sad n scared. What if she doesn't understand ? Took a big risk going in the first place. Maybe it's time to stop going now?

Why would you want to stop? I assume seeing the counselor benefited you. If so, at least give the new one a chance.
Thanks for this!

It is so hard to start over with someone new.
I've had to do it twice. It is no fun.

I think it is worth it though.
It is quite likely you will find someone else who understands you and can help you.

Blargh!

I hate the anxiety of not knowing whether you'll be able to like and work with a new therapist. When is she leaving? Do you have enough time to talk about this sort of stuff with her?

I think you should give the new person a chance. Yeah, they'll be different, but it may not be so bad. I switched between 1...2...3...4... or five T's in three years and it sucked.
