Has anybody here stopped therapy, but continued on their medication?

I've had lapses in time, where I was on antidepressants and not in therapy - but only for a few months at a time, nothing major (and it wasn't that I quit therapy either... just vacations and money issues preventing me from being in therapy all the time).

I've taken meds for many years before going to therapy. I was first prescribed meds by my gyno. stopped taking those and then my GP was writing a script for me. He eventually got me into therapy.

I suppose it would depend on whether or not you feel better just taking medication.
