My DH has definitely shown annoyance. In our house therapy is the great unspoken topic. He doesn't want to hear about it, or hear that I am still going, so I do it invisibly - without telling him when I go, or how it's going, what the fees are, or even how I pay for it.

Irvin Yalom wrote somewhere that in a marriage, when one person goes into therapy and the other doesn't, it upsets the balance, and can be very dangerous for survival of the relationship (my paraphrase). So I think yes, Sunny, you are on to something there.

as for "resonate" - perfectly acceptable word in my circles - and especially in e-correspondence. just my $0.02
