I'm an INFJ as well WePow. I brought it up in therapy but my T didn't think it mean't too much. I took the professional test for work and it was the first time in my life I felt understood. Nice to meet another INFJ!
Thanks for this!

I think those of us on PC are a self-selecting group. I bet there are a higher percentage of INFJ's on here than there are in the "real world." That is because INFJ is so characterized by self-reflection and having a complex internal world. I love my type (I've known for a while that I was an INFJ)

I agree - my guess is that INFJ's more easily gravitate to therapy. I don't know anyone who is an INFJ in my life. I love it to but it hasn't been easy!

INFP.
You are:
moderately expressed introvert
slightly expressed intuitive personality
distinctively expressed feeling personality
slightly expressed perceiving personalit

I've taken these kind of tests a lot for school, and I think I'll always be INFP

Lily, I was an INFP too - the description seemed pretty accurate to me. I wonder how constant personality types are, or if there is any change as we grow older or gather new experiences?

I havent taken this test (yet), but this sounds just like the Myers-Briggs test, which I also had to take for work. I am a ISFJ.
Thanks for this!

Well... today I am INTJ: 89% introverted and the rest were only listed as "slightly expressed" but I don't remember the exact numbers. But the results would change dramatically if my fun-loving and sociable, though temperamental and impulsive adolescent alter took this test!
Thanks for this!

This is definitely weird. I posted a link to this on another mental health site I visit and 50% came back INFJ. Here it seems the same... Supposedly it is only 1% of the population...

Me?

INFJ

Brightheart, I do think it's true that INFJ's are only 1% of the population. But look at who we are! We are people so invested in our own psyches that we spend considerable amounts of time on a forum for exploring mental health issues. Not to mention as others said we naturally gravitate toward therapy. Most people are not like us.. It would be classic INFJ behavior to post on a forum like this. Perceptive, intuitive, driven by feelings, always searching for answers.. it makes sense.

Thanks WePow,

It is good to be reminded of this. I have taken the Myers Briggs tests a few times and this time I remain very similar. I also am INFP but I go between a P & J on the last one, usually. First time I took it was about 1995 or so.

These numbers may change though. The readings are so me-ish.

56 Introverted
12 Intuative
75 Feeling
56 Perceiving

I hadn't seen the educational connections before. Not suprising about the art at all and web design was on there, whooo hoooo.

It was fun...and I am happy to meet all of you.

I was reminded that I can see the good in most things. Do you know that one time I extolled the beauty and virtues in the slime trail of the common garden slug and when I did so the company I was with all chuckled, I'm guessing at me. It's okay though, after contemplating it for years, I am able to measure the simplistic charm of that moment and not be offended at their laughter. I believe it does however set me apart as I recall to be considered like, what is it? 25% of the population. Perhaps that is why we prefer solitude.

Cheerio,
Hunny

PS Perhaps we could have a fromal chat of the INFP/J's sometime.

INTJ
Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging
Strength of the preferences %
67 25 12 1

I remember taking a different test several years ago and coming out unquestionably INFP, which felt righter to me then than this score does now. I didn't feel as "at home" with this set of questions, either.

Then again, the "12" (on T) and "1" (on J) suggest that I may not be very far on those sides of the lines. The earlier test (a knockoff of the Myers-Briggs, I think) didn't say anything about strengths of preferences, and the community where I was hanging out at the time seemed to have quite a few other INFPs.
