I'm sure, when she comes back, she will discuss the situation with you; it's probably not as bad as you imagine. One of my best friends from high school is a therapist and had cancer but that was 10-15 years ago now and she's been working normally ever since.

(((((Mountainview))))) That sounds very scary. I think Id be crying and very concerned as well. I agree with Perna. She will probably discuss this with you when she returns. Im not sure what you can do in terms of contacting her or not. A voicemail message? An email? Im not sure. Or waiting until she returns. Is she coming back soon?
Thanks for this!

Sending you very big and safe hugs! Allow yourself to feel whatever comes into your heart because of this. Continue to be authentic.

Mountainview, I am so sorry, and I know you must be scared and hurting. In this time while she is away, it might be helpful to write down some of the feelings that you are experiencing so that you can discuss them with your T when she comes back. Plus, I have found writing to be a really cathartic way of getting your feelings out. Please don't hesitate to lean on us. Thinking of you, and many hugs!

(((( MOUNTAINVIEW )))))

That is so scary....I'm so sorry and I hope your T is able to reconnect with you real soon and give you some insight into what's going on. Hopefully, your T will be able to ease your concerns. That is so hard.

I would be scared and want to cry, too. I would be incredibly sad. Give her a little time until you see her again and let her know you are concerned. I bet she would like to know that.
Does your T allow for hugs? Mine does at the end of each session, if I want.
I agree that writing about it might help, too.
