I am not sure, there might be just one potted plant in the office my T shares with a colleague.

Someone recently posted about a T who had a dozen artificial plants & flower arrangements. For some reason this seemed really strange to me, that a T would have artificial stuff in the therapy room, and especially so much of it.

Then again I have never seen the inside of any other T's room but mine; does your T have live plants / real flowers / artificials, or what?

Sounds as though this person has a few issues to sort out...

Hee, hee. My t has one poor plant that he always forgets to water. It is constantly struggling for its life. Hmm. Metaphorical?

The waiting room has a couple of artificial plants.

The plants in my T´s office are splendid. But he doesn’t look like someone who cares about plants and flowers, so I always think; “it must be the cleaner”, because they are very much alive. But who knows!

Wait a minute, he actually told me once about an incident when he bought a plant. Maybe I haven’t gave him enough credit?

I was just thinking about that the other day! I was in a restaurant and outside the window was a window box full of plastic flowers! I thought that was so stupid/cheap.

My T used other people's offices, rotated offices, etc. didn't have one that was always just hers and only a couple of the offices we used over time were decorated well, others were just bare minimum stuff, kind of generic, or very much reflected the person whose office it actually was, not my T at all.

I don't have a T, but I have a pdoc.

His waiting room has about 4 artificial plants. His office doesn't have any plants, but it does have a glass cabinet thing full of rhino figurines. And he has some more on his desk.

I asked about why he had so many rhinosauri (or is it rhinosauruses?) in his office after I had been seing him for about a year. He gave a pretty generic answer..."because he liked them". *shrug* Oh well.

His wife's office (I had to wait in there before seeing him on my first visit for some reason...his wife is in on the days he is out at the other office and vis versa) has a shelve full of toys and kids books. I guess she sees a lot of kids. Only explaination I can think of.

So that's what is in their offices.

My ex T (haven't found a new one yet) didn't have any plants or life. I once had a T with a salt water fish tank, I liked that. My pdoc's office is quite pleasant. He has contemporary furniture that is comfy but clean looking. Nice geometric patterns and shapes. A big window which lets in a good amount of sunlight.

I don't even know
Seriously, I've been going to her office every week for close to 2 years, and I couldn't tell you if there is a plant in there, real or otherwise. What the heck does that say about me??

(((((((((zoo )))))))))))) I am not sure either. I do know that T keeps her blinds tilted but there is a nice tree outside and the leaves blow in the breeze. A lot of times, I look out there and talk to the tree

oh, yes, if you want to know about the plants outside Ts office, I could tell you LOTS! I'm always staring out that window. I just don't look around me that much, there could well be plants at either side of the couch I sit on, I have no idea. I could give you an alphabetic, categorical run-down of the books on her shelf opposite where I sit, though, or the number of tiles on the ceiling.

Oh, man, I don't know either! Maybe he has one plant, but maybe not. I know the child specialist I went to see for my kids had big pots of bamboo, and that was really cool. He room was very light and airy and open. My T's is more dark and earthy (and cluttered). Next time I go see him I am definitely going to check to see if he has plants. It reminds me of the time I'd been seeing him for half a year, and one day I walked in and he had this gorgeous display of scarfs hanging up on the wall--all different colors, very light and breezy. I commented on them and he said they had always been there.

I know mine has a plant I never noticed...because I managed to swallow a little flying bug during one session and had to run out to the waiting room to get some water because it was tickling my throat (ew)... T looked a bit embarrassed and said that there are gnats that hang around the plant in the corner, and sometimes he will see a client wave one away, but I was the first person to actually swallow one. Great...I should bring some bug spray in.

Lol traction! My t has flowers in the reception area. She has cut flowers in her office. And yeah, outside is a tree I'm very familiar with!
