Your T won't let it take the place of talking

I did this with my T for awhile. I guess it's only supposed to work if you actually believe it does, which I didn't So it wasn't really for me. Hope it works for you if you decide to do it

But no, it really shouldn't take the place of talking.

my therapist taught me about pressure points and how to tap or rub them to relieve stress. I found it so cool how tapping and massaging my foot could help alleviate my stress headaches.

there are many variations of EFT (tapping or rubbing pressure points and other areas of the body) and it is widely used in therapy. some people tapping and rubbing pressure points works so well they don't need other therapy methods.

if you want to give it a try heres a website that can give you more information about it and download a free trial version. this is the website my therapist recommended to me.

the best part of EFT is you dont have to have a therapist to do it. you can on your own or with a therapist.
