Okay so I admit I have thought the idea of T and rleationship with her as a "Holding Enviornment". to be just too scary. Hard to define not. Measureable. Etc. I do think I'm beginning to experience T and our time as just this though. a safe place to express emotions work thorough issues and feel nurturing. Yesterday I got another letter from my past abuser. I did bring it to T and read it to her. I was able with her help to get upset (cried again) but remain grounded and choose to repspond differently. She could be there for. Me point out the difference btwn my feelings and reality and remind me I did'nt owe her a response. Wow very powerful
Thanks for this!

Wow, that's very insightful....It took me a long time to realize that I didn't have to respond, and that I had choices....very powerful. I'm glad you have a safe place with your T.
