I forgot about this when I started my thread, but I wanted to tell you guys. My T asked me at the end of my session what I was going to do afterwards. I said, I might get something to eat, and asked her if there was a bagel place close by. She said yes, and offered to draw me a map.

I didn't really need the map, she could have just said "it's by Burger King", but I let her draw it anyway. She drew directions from her office to the bagel place and from there to the craft store since I mentioned going there.

As she was drawing it I was thinking, I can't wait to post about this on PC, those guys will really love the symbolism of T drawing me a map! I haven't looked at it yet, actually, but I know I will save it and cherish it.

Do you think she knew, that she had any idea of the meaning behind it, or was she just giving me directions? either way, it's a little bit of T for me to hold on to while she's gone.

If I were a T, I would have caught the symbolism and wondered about it. Maybe your T is thinking, "I wonder if Zooey caught the meaning behind this map?" Honestly, it's a distinct possibility! Something I may have thought myself if I were a T.

I think your T had in mind that you'd like the map to hold onto. It could have been just written instructions and not a map, but it was something she wrote just for you. Once my T gave me a tylenol and it was more that she gave me something than needing the tylenol.

Sweet story zoo I bet she knew exactly what she was doing when she made you a map. You are lucky to have such a caring T.

I think I was so kind of out of it at the end of the session that she worried about me finding my way. It took me quite a while to calm down and get out of the memories and back into the room. I have lost track of how many times I've walked out of her office on shaking legs made of jello. :0
