I cannot think of any other place I have ever been where there are so many thinking people. It is something that I have wanted for as long as I can remember. I wish I had found such a place a long time ago.

You know I was JUST thinking that today! (on the toilet...HA)

But seriously, I was thinking about how such smart and thoughtful posts just abound in this forum, and how it really helps put these issues in perspective and can make someone take a positive step in their therapy, feel not alone, have the courage to speak up..etc. It truly is remarkable.

I wished and looked for a place like this for a year before I found PC. I'm active on internet communities based around other shared interests, so I knew the potential was there but I didn't know if I'd ever find a place I could talk so openly about my feelings and my experience of therapy. It has been so amazingly healing.

I agree. I am thankful that all the people here post their ideas - even though they may go against the flow - because it stimulates my own mind. I enjoy an intellectual challenge as it serves to temper my steel!

And I enjoy the open hearts and honesty people come in here bearing. They are being human and being honest for the most part. And so many people give support to others even when they are in pain. I think that helps both parties out ;-)

I am also happy to have found this place. Reading through past posts has helped me immensely in the past few weeks. I am very grateful to all of you for sharing your experiences.

It's so nice to know that 1). other people struggle with what I am dealing with; and 2). other people are trying to heal themselves, too. Sometimes it feels like my regular world is so shallow...it's nice to connect with other people on this super-private stuff.
Thanks for this!
