I was so struck by Zoo's thread and I do completely understand where she is coming from.

I just want to say, I joined but I mostly lurk. There's so many reasons for this including the fact that I don't feel I articulate well in written form. There's so many insightful, gifted, wonderful people on this forum who give great advice. I think someone else said they hold back because they know it will eventually get said.

Here's the thing. Us lurkers also miss out on the genuine community of regular posters. It's the sad side. We feel we know you but you won't know us.

Zoo - who knows what might be out there. My guess is a lot of us hold back because of our stuff. I know I come here several times a day because it keeps me sane. You who are so courageous to share your journeys are helping more people than you realize. Thank you.
Thanks for this!

I agree - you articulate just fine and dandy!!! I was a lurker for a few years before I started posting this past year. I promise you, the actual act of getting in here and sharing with fellow people in this way really does provide an outlet and a safety place. I wish I would have been more courageous sooner - but I am glad I did make the plunge.

So good job with this post!!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
