((((( granite )))))

I can definitely relate....

Want to share some more? Maybe venting will help?

granite: I know sometimes things just get confusing and you don't feel good. It happens to me too. I hope tomorrow is a better day! When does your son get home?
Thanks for this!

I'm sorry you had a bad day, granite.

I too hate it when I obsess about unhealthy ways to cope, thinking that it would help, at least for the moment. We know it comes in waves, but trying to ride the wave when you're in it is so tough.

I used to SI when I was a teen...and then again a couple years ago when things were really, really bad....Today, all of a sudden, I got that urge again. That oh so familiar urge. UGH. I have a better idea at the moment how that links with what I'm feeling....But in your situation, I don't know, obviously.

I just try to hold onto knowing that I won't feel this way forever. It will pass, and that I will have good moments too....

Ironic that I just read this right after my kitten attacked my FACE. Go figure.

I wish I could reach through my computer and pull you here, granite, so we can find our way out of this mess.

((( granite )))

Know that you are not alone in this. These holes that we fall into are awful....at times, we find ourselves lifted out...other times, we struggle, clawing our way out. I do hope tomorrow is a better day for both of us. Know that you are ok...just as I am ok. Just as we are.

....I think I'm going to put together a game plan for tomorrow...some kind of activity to help ensure that I don't continue to sink....maybe you can too?
