My T didn't take vacation over Christmas YAY, but she's going away after Christmas for 2 weeks, so it'll be 3 weeks before I can see her - that's going to seem like a really long time, especially since I'm starting a new job between now and then.

But she did do like she said she would and had saved my "regular" spot for me, so I can see her after work, Tues. at 5:40. So I don't have to take time off work for T.

Looks like Tuesday is going to be therapy day for me as my pdoc has also agreed to see me after work on Tuesdays, so my appointment with him is 5 pm on Tues. Fortunately his hospital and the hospital I'll be working at are really close to each other and I get off work at 4:30.

I'm also going to ask my addictions Dr., if I can book my appointments with her for Tues. mornings before group therapy. I've already negotiated Tues. mornings off, so If I can see her before group, I won't have to ask for any additional time off of work.

And this should work out well if I shchedule it properly I'll be able to get some form of therapy every week. I can only afford to see my T every two weeks as she's private & I have to pay out of pocket. But my addictions Dr. and pdoc are both MD's so they're covered by public healthcare, so if I see my T and addictions Dr. on alternating Tues. I'll be covered. and then pdoc once a month.

This looks like it's working out rather well.

Won't see T for 3 weeks & some other therapy stuff.

splitimage - I love the way you have this worked out in advance. That is a good example of self-care!
