I've been going to a therapist for almost a year now for anxiety and PMDD issues. I've been trying to go every 2-3 weeks or so. But due to my work schedule and stuff I haven't been there in like a month and half. It's longest break I've had since I've started. I go back tomorrow actually. In a way I think the break was good because it helped me realize I can deal with my emotions on my own, and I did alot of writing in my journal which also helped. I am glad to start up again though.

I'm glad you get to go back finally. It sounds like you are really good at staying connected during breaks! I hope you have a really good session :hug;

I used to take weeks or months off at a time and now I can't go longer than a week without feeling overwhelmed because of the things I'm going through. Good for you for learning to self-sooth and work hard on your own. Hope you have a great session tomorrow!

Thanks session went ok. I'm going to try and keep like 2-3 weeks only between sessions. Yea, I did start to feel overwhelmed a little bit last week, when I realized it was almost 1.5 months since I was there.
