hi there,

so many of us seem to go to see T and there is so much going on with us that we can't articulate anything; or speaking seems so scary that nothing will come out and yet we ache to communicate what's hurting us....

somewhere in my www ramblings I came across an idea that seems to help now and then, I wondered if anyone might benefit from it. It reminds me of the clustering technique for creative writing that came out with all the "right side of the brain" books, in a way.

If you take a really big sketch pad, and draw a simple outline of your head, you can write inside it all the words or names or symbols or dates or whatever you would like to say, if you could, whatever you find bumping your internal walls tryng to get out...
then if you show the sketch to T, she (or you) can point to something and she might ask a little about it and apparently it helps your words to flow more easily.

I don't know if I described this well but i hope it helps.

(((((SAWE)))))) Thank you so much for writing this!! I was just thinking about my session today and if I said what really needed to be said?? - I think I hit the important notes but feel like I always run out of time!

I'm going to follow your suggestion and bring it to my next appt!
