My comment was if I hurt their feelings, I can try to work it out and fix it, but there comes a time (as the teacher) that you cannot keep dragging out dramas that happen all the time in the classroom. I do take action when action is needed. That is, report bullying, fighting, etc....to the office. Your comment makes it sound like I am insensitive and don't care if I hurt their feelings. That is not the case at all. At one point, my therapist did comment that I can be stubborn and controlling. It made me mad, but she is right. She meant that I control who I let into my circle. That I am a very closed person. As to being stubborn, she is right with that as well. When I make my mind up that I am not going to do something, I can be hard-headed. Like now, I am being a stubborn brat saying, "I am never going back to therapy!" I am not sure what you mean by this comment: "Is this what you are doing to yourself right now too?" |
