yes, i was sorry to have missed her too. i hate feeling like i'm playing games with the phone, like why wouldn't i answer her call just minutes after calling her myself - you know? i don't ever want her to feel like i'm intentionally ignoring her calls.
as i said, i did call her back to say that i received the message and that i'd be there tomorrow. she mentioned some insurance stuff in her message, so i addressed that as well. i told her to let me know if/how i can help her with some of the forms, etc. as it turns out, she does need help - and she called me back! it was so nice to talk to her for a few minutes about something completely off-topic. it's hard to explain, but i felt like we were really gelling together like old times and working with each other to figure this insurance stuff out. it's a small thing, but a good reminder how we make a good team. i'm going to try to hold on to that until i see her tomorrow.
thanks again to everyone for their help. now i can go back to offering support to others myself!
