Dam, I've booked another holiday for this yr, a trip to the Rhine Valley in Germany, and now I'm thinking, whats up? LOL I have always been so afraid to go away from home, but now its like my small circle of life isn't enought any longer, theres a whole wide world out there to see, but also, I;ve begun thinking, if I weren't paying for therapy I could go on even more holidays!
I know, therapy has enabled this and I've heard people say that eventually they begin to want to spend their money on other things, a sign therapy is having its desired effect. I've discussed in the past with T about the future and shes always said she will always be there and that some people when they have finished therapy see her sometimes a 3 months intervals, I think that would be a nice place to be eventually, enjoying life and checking in with her every so often. I'm not saying this where I am at right now, but I can feel the stirrings of this inside now. |

That's something I long for. Freedom from therapy...that weekly appt, that copay, feeling tired and stressed. I know it will come some day, hopefully when I am not too old to enjoy it.

Being new to therapy I find it exciting and promising so I don't have the long-time blues that some of you have. Still - it's great that you're vacationing and going further. For me, going further isn't about traveling (I may visit The Netherlands and France this summer), but more about knowing my own fears in my relationships with other people and to not be so inhibited.
