My T is totally hands off, which is exactly what I need because I'm terrified of touch. He only moves out of his chair at the end to grab his appt book and distract me out of my deep thought daze.
I've felt really comfortable lately because he's been leaning forward in his chair to watch me write (I go mute a lot) and it's been good to see that's he's interested in HOW I write, as that's equivalent of tone of voice and rate of speech. Yesterday, he actually got out of his chair and knelt on the floor beside my chair, to help me read aloud from a book. It was so powerful, because he was close enough to be supportive but still respecting the boundaries! |

Awesome Elli-Beth! Isn't it great when we feel that they care and they understand us enough to do the right thing??

Great work Elli! It makes the hard work that much easier when a T stays within the boundaries and is very suportive.
