At end of month I'm facing that many days between sessions. I just don't understand why and how I've gotten so attached to therapy in only 3 months. We meet weekly and sometimes urgent sessions added in and twice I had a double session.

I do not have serious problems and I am able to live my life more or less normally so what gives?

I've got 2 more sessions before the drought begins. I'm wondering if I should avoid PC at the same time as the drought. Maybe it will make it easier by not thinking of therapy issues.

Dear lovely Suratji,

I could have written what you posted nearly word for word, and I feel your pain. I've got a 15-day stretch coming up after tomorrow, which is likely to be a volatile session, so then--yay!--two weeks of trying to sort s*it out on my own while he goes on vacation.

You raise a good point--maybe PC, despite all the great support, makes it easier to stay in "therapy head" when that might be counterproductive on a lengthy break. Try it and see how it feels.

Did your T provide a backup? Or are you the one who will be away?

I don't need backup because I don't have any serious problems. I wonder if therapy isn't its own problem in itself.
Thanks for this!
