This is my first time ever doing this, but i could have sworn she said tuesday at 2, apparently not, I got there and found it odd there was another car there, so i waited a bit, then i went to the door and she came to the door and said we changed it to wednesday at 2 instead of wednesday at 10, she gave me a hug and a kiss and asked me how my new job went, and i told her it went great and that ide see her tomorrow, wow that was embarrasing! Ive never gotten the wrong day before. oh well, atleast I get to look forward to seeing her tomorrow. =)

That's something I always worry about, especially if T is 2 minutes late coming to get me from waiting room. I also worry about forgetting to take money to pay her.

I worry about it, too! Haven't had it happen yet, though, thankfully!
Once T put down the wrong time on my appt card, way back in the first few weeks I was seeing her, and put the right time in her appt book. So I was supposed to be there at 10:30 and wasn't because I thought it was at 1, which was on my card....oops! |

I never gone the wrong day, but I remember arriving one hour before our appointment, once... I just rushed out the waiting room as soon as I realized and walked around until it was my time... T never known about this one
![]() This too happened to me once. I was embarassed as hell but my T acted like it wasn't a big deal. I just paid double the session later ![]() |

Oh, I've done that. Aggravates the heck out of me. Feel like I'm losing my mind. At least you showed up a day early and not a day late.

The first time my T went away for 6-8 weeks (out of the country), I found I'd forgotten what time I was supposed to see her so took the whole day off and just camped outside the door (this was in an "apartment" hallway where the clinic had various offices on various floors). She got there an hour early (she claimed :-) and was very surprised to see me sitting, back resting against the hall wall, but saw me right away.

Once I showed up to my Pdoc appointment an hour early. I told him this after going out for coffee to pass the time. He said that me being there early must mean that I had something to talk about. There was also one time I mixed up the day of my appointment (thought it was the next day). I was surprised to come home to a message on my answering machine from him telling me that he had missed me that day.
![]() There was one day when my t appointment got moved up (I was the first person to see her in the morning so it was already early) and I got to the building she was in and the front door to the building wasn't open. ![]() ![]() |

This happened to me once. I thought my appointment was on Friday 24th. I was in the procress of having my hair done when my therapist called. She said, "We had an appointment at 2:00 today." By now it was 15 minutes past that time. I was like, "No, it is the tomorrow the 24th."
She clairfied for me that the 24th was on a THURSDAY not a FRIDAY as I had thought. I was so upset thinking I had missed my time for that week. She graciously offered me a time the next day. It went over okay. Session went well, so I didn't get burned too bad by it. |

this used to be a fear of mine, especially since we meet in her house. it's partitioned off (so one just walks in and downstairs to the waiting area/office), but i know when she's not "at work" the partitions are up. i used to think, "what if i just walked in thinking we were meeting, only to find her chillaxing on the couch with a bag of potato chips watchin a movie!"
![]() it's been two years, and i've not gotten an appointment time wrong, so hopefully it'll continue that way.. |

So I got a phone call on Monday from my T asking me if I could change my appointment time this week. Half way through the voice mail she realized that I wasn't coming in this week. We aren't the only ones who get it wrong. LOL.
