I was abused as a child, so anything having to do with sex is most terrifying to me. My T knows this, so when I mentioned that I hugged a guy friend who is all kinds of adorable she was elated. Then, I told her that for a second (a VERY brief second) that I saw myself as a wife and a mother (Whaaat!?) her eyes lit up like the Rockefeller Christmas tree. She was so proud. Then, (back to my reality), I said, "But, you have to have sex to have children. She started nodding her head in agreement. I said something like, "Could I be like Mary and have children through immaculate conception?" She looked at me and said something to the effect of, "You'd miss out on all the fun."

OMG, I just about died. I've convinced myself that my sweet little, Tinkerbell T's children came from the stork. Holy moley! I started giggling like a hyena because she caught me off guard with that one. It was pretty funny, though. She thought it was great that I could even say the word "sex". Zoinks! I even put it in the title of this thread. Yikes!

Has your T shared something personal that caught you off guard, but made you feel closer to them that they shared it with you? Did you giggle like a hyena? LOL!

T and I have had a few 'sex talks', so I am slowly getting more comfortable talking about it in person.....I have 4 kids, so you'd think I'd be more comfortable. But anyway, some of the stuff she has told me has really caught me off guard, I mean the stuff she knows about that you could do, stuff I had no idea about! I asked her, how do you know this stuff?! She rolled her eyes and said, Oh lord.....

I still can't say the word...he knows when I stumble with words what I am talking about and fills in the blanks, completes my sentences..don't know if that's better or worse. I can write it, just can't speak it

That's one topic I'm terrified of. I am so modest in this modern world. T knows we need to go there - a question about my sexuality but I don't think I'll have the guts. Luckily there are plenty of other things to talk about.

Thank you for your post peridot. You actually made me laugh. Immaculate conception- why haven't I think of it?
I have a male T, find it easier to talk about the S stuff. I would be ashamed to talk about it with female. I guess I consider sex to be a male thing.
Never mind I know the laugh, I do it when I am nervous. Yours probably sound better cause I hate it.
Just today, out of the blue, he shared a really personal thing. I don't understand why he said it and still think of. I like to pretend he doesn't do THAT (though he has 5 children). I must ask him, cause I kind of felt scared/angry him poiting it out.
I am so glad it bring you closer to your T and I do believe we can overcome this and have a normal life.
