Hi,
I'm new to PC and have been "lurking" this area for a few weeks, mostly just trying to find answers to some of my answers and concerns about therapy and I just love how everyone is so supportive and helpful! So I thought I would just say hi and introduce myself and hopefully start posting my own stuff.
I've been in therapy for about 6 months, and up until this point it has been about current issues in my life...an eviction, living with my mom, getting kicked out of my moms(unjustly imo), among a lot of depression and self esteem issues...but the last 2 weeks we have been going into some tough past stuff and its getting hard! I mostly came on here when I felt I was becoming too attached to therapy and its fear of ending, etc...and found out I am far from alone! So I just hope to find some comfort in knowing others are out there going through similar stuff I guess. I don't have much of a support system, so I think this could be good for me..
Thanks for this!

Doodle3609,

Welcome to the PC community! I hope you will find alot of information and support here. It's a great place!

Attachment to the therapist and therapy is a frequent issue that comes up here. I don't feel like i'm a good one to give advice about it, though, because i have major attachment issues that stem from my childhood and get played out in the therapy relationship. I'm in need of some direction in that area also.

But there are alot of knowledgable folks here with alot of experience to bring to the table.

Hiya Doodle. This forum can be very supportive, especially if you ask for information or responses to questions. People here can be very knowledgeable and share their experiences willingly as do I.

Hey doodle,
I only joined a few weeks ago and I find this forum is so helpful and friendly, even just for a virtual hug when people are low.

Attachment in therapy is something so many of us understand and relate to so you are definately not alone and I hope you can gain some comfort from being part of the forum! welcome!
