Oh man, me too. I have session in 1/2 hour and my strategy is to talk around stuff. I need to protect my emotions for awhile. Even took a klonopin to help me be detached.

Sure, can I come be your pocket rider? What time/time zone?

Do you like curmudgeons? Or, at least, can you stand them in your pocket? You never know what they might do (or think).

This was not the happiest of sessions. I went in feeling much like a therapy failure.

I did tell her about the dream I had, breaking into a house with my DH and the owner surprising us, and and how DH tried to get me to kill the guy and when I refused, he left me... I asked whether she thought that maybe the DH character was really her, a sort of authority figure who has taken me "into myself" to look around for precious, hidden things, in spite of all my trepidatons; and whether the "owner" showing up was my own resistance, which she has beaten on it so to speak in a professional manner, but it's up to me to put it away for good (kill it) and I couldn't do it... and then in the dream I was abandoned for this failure...

T was very displeased and would only say that these dreams I bring in are so negative... she said, when you interpret an event IRL, SAWE, it's always negative... and I tried to lighten the moment by saying, "always, T? isn't that what CBT calls black and white thinking?" but she wasn't having any of it. Yikes.

Oh she knew it was me all right.
She fished up a memory of something I told her about maybe two years ago... I couldn't believe it. Gosh, do you suppose they really do LISTEN?
