sorry - I guess it doesn't seem like I'm being receptive to any suggestions. I appreciate all the advice. I guess this is just one of those things I need to figure out on my own. Maybe it's time to move on from therapy...I've been in therapy for years. Maybe this is the final sign I've been looking for to tell me that it's enough...

I am too concerned about T's feelings/reaction to directly ask. I have never been comfortable with anything remotely related to confrontation and asking falls too close to the realm of confrontation for me. I'd rather stay the good client and not cause troubles or create waves.
I can't imagine myself bringing this up - it is just not me.

Oh CSC. My heart is aching for you and I can imagine that this is a very painful and difficult situation to be in. You just do what YOU want to do for you. Ok??
