Hi, iceprincex, welcome to PsycheCentral (PC). Don't think there are any mental health people who work for free, either online or in person. I would talk to your regular doctor the next time you see him/her, see if they can recommend something/someone in your community.

Meanwhile, I would do a lot of reading here and post some of your problems and concerns when you feel comfortable and see what you can learn and if you can become more comfortable so it might not be so hard to talk to someone locally.

If you want to look at what is available online, one good, reputable site is:

Psych Central's online counselor (not free, but for a "small fee"):

Yes, there are a large number of online psychologists, but they do charge a fee.

Hello iceprincex,

Welcome to PC. I Hope that you eventually feel safe enough to ask for our help and support. It's not really a matter of getting something for free; more a matter of trying to face what you are going through and trying to come out of that at the other end with a positive change.

Perna's advice is sound as usual and If she answers your posts you will see what I mean,

Rhiannon

I understand what you are going through. I feel this way sometimes, too. Feel free to confide your problems with me and I will do my best to help you out. It is your choice and don't feel pressured to tell me anything you do not wish to. Thank you.
