something T says.... this can be changed; you must start small, and take it in little steps... but if you work at it, in time it can change.

That's great but "it" is actually many, many, many things.

I have no artistic talent but.... Can any of you PC folks sketch me a mummy totally swathed in band aids? That's how I am envisioning myself as I start small and take little steps to change 48837658573 distorted, wired-in responses to life.

Just a walking collection of of band aids .

(BTW, my T really didn't think much of that image)

thanks

Why band-aids? This is one of my favorite self-depictions:

a walking collection of band aids

What I eventually found out is that it snowballs; you start with just one little one and when you are working on fixing that, two others get easier to fix and you start working on those and 10 more come loose and eventually the "balance" shifts so you have more fixed than not fixed and that's very motivating!

Yes, the unraveling and rebuilding, for me each rearrangement improved my life so it became something that I looked forward too.

The bandaids may be connected together like dominoes. So when one starts to go -- well, that can be good, or not, depending...
