Sorry no T till next week so I thought I would vent here.

So T you encouraged me to be more social and work more on my friendships that are just acquaintances. You thought it would help my depression and my anxiety would get better with practise. So I did. I spent more time in social situations. Now I am invited to a friends home for dinner with 3 other couples on Sat!!! We are going to brain storm some fun weekend trips to take together next summer I am terrified, but maybe just a little excited. Are you sure they will like me?

Maggy Jo
Thanks for this!

Hi Maggy Jo .... I know T isn't there but I hope you share with us what happens with the dinner ... the mixed feelings make total sense to me; and I think you are really brave going and hope it is a great success

I'm SURE they will like you, maggiejo!! WE love you already and we hardly even know you! Good job!! You took a huge leap; you are exercising social skills that you didn't know you had. Just do a little deep breathing before you go on Saturday, and remember; this isn't just about them liking you......it's about you liking them, too. You'll all be on equal footing. Have a really nice time, maggiejo........I hope we hear back from you. All my best........grey
Thanks for this!
