yea the one in VA. we felt it up in PA. we stopped talking and we were like did you feel that? that was so weird...then we continued. when i got home it was all over the news. She called me after our session and was like, "can i just say that what we felt actually was an earthquake?!?!" Me and T both experienced our first earthquakes together<33

Yeah, a friend of mine who lives out there told me about it. Very small though, right?

I felt it while I was reading stuff online, sitting in this computer chair in my living room in upstate NY... which is exactly where I was and what I was doing a little over a year ago when I felt the earthquake that occurred in Canada.
Guess that means I need a life...

Doc: "You know, for the past few weeks you've seemed very disconnected from your emotions when you're here."
Me: "I'm not disconnected from my emotions. I just don't feel anything when I'm here."
(Pause)
Me: "Doc, why are you banging your head against the arm of your chair?"
Doc: "Because I'm not close enough to a wall."

It's official. I can even make therapists crazy.

I was sitting on my couch and my ma and pa were in the room too-when it first started I honestly didn't know what was going on...I've never experienced one! It shook the house and ground but it wasn't that long...my doggies did not like it at all-whining and looking at us lol!! Didn't feel any aftershocks though...

I was sitting in my T waiting room in a Boston suburb. Just felt it a little and thought it was a quake but wasn't really sure.

I know this is probably strange...but after it happened and everything was okay-I thought about T and how it would have been to be in the room with him when it happened...

I'm in the NE US. Some people at my job saw furniture shake, but a lot of people, including me, who were down the block didn't feel anything.

I'm in Baltimore but use to live in Southern California so knew what it was (eventually :-) and got outside. My townhouse is old and "cheap" and my husband was in bed just over my head, the noise was pretty ominous and I didn't want the ceiling crashing in on me. My husband said the cat disappeared off the bed pretty fast, It took me longer than it should have to quite figure it out, we're on the water and the house has no basement so we're sitting on a cement slab; I realized it should not have been shaking but thought it was me, that there was something physically wrong with me and my nerves.

In the largest federal building (largest building at all) in Washington, DC, where I work. Scary, scary, scary, especially while walking down all those flights of steps not knowing if it was an earthquake or...something else.

I heard there were cracks in the Washington Monument - why do I feel like I'm in a Will Smith movie?

I was at school, sitting at my desk - the principal came in and told us that everyone would need to leave the building.
