Laceylu,

I read one of your posts where you mentined that your t does "sensorimotor therapy." Could you possibly tell me how this type of therapy works? My t has told me before that i need this type of therapy, but she doesn't do it. You can PM me if you'd rather tell me privately. I'm just really curious how it works.

Well since I have spent so much time in fear of her, I did not ask for specifics. Today was my 13th session and basically I think if I have body memories and feelings, she tries to interrupt the process. And I am supposed to learn how to interrupt the body signals eventually. She is still learning me and I her, so we shift around therapy depending on what I bring up. How funny I was about to search the definition myself. After today I do not know if she will still work with me because she suspects a much different problem. Will post a thread on what I find.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
