Hi,

Yesterday, I saw my counselor. I told him I felt like having a tantrum. It had been an extremely hard week, and he knew that. He was so funny. He said we could have a tantrum together. I was worried about the noise because we were in the upper level of a converted house being used as office space. He said he'd run downstairs and see if anybody was there - and there wasn't! He knew I was so scared about making noise and disturbing people. So once we knew there was nobody downstairs to disturb, we both had a tantrum! Oh, it was so funny. We stomped our feet on the ground and screamed! I am not very good at screaming but I was good at the stomping my feet part! And we had one tantrum about one thing...then we picked out another thing to have a tantrum about....and another thing...and then before long we were laughing like crazy. It was great. And I remembered yet again that I really like my counselor, and I am so thankful to know him, and that was just really something else. I wanted to write about it. Tantrum

and we didn't disturb anybody or anything, and no people were hurt in the process Tantrum and laughing ensued. it was all very good.

In fact he said we might need to have more tantrums later! LOL

thanks for listening

Take care,
ErinBear Tantrum

That sounds really neat and therapeutic. Maybe a person could even try that with their spouse. Tantrum

That is fantastic. that Therapist is a keeper. my therapist do that..... Yea I can see her doing that. she runs a depression management group that I went to and she was digging right in with the rest of us right down to demonstrative dancing. Yup I can see her throwing a temper tantrum when needed.

Glad you have an open minded therapist who is willing to go to this length to help you.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the replies - it had been a really hard week here with lots of yucky frustrating medical stuff especially, and doctors being abnormally difficult....and just a lot of hard things in a short time! It felt like my brain was about to pop.

I have an idea, we can have a tantrum here! Together! How does that sound? I'll start it.......

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp

Tantrum

And yes, he is a very nice counselor and I feel really thankful to be working with him.

Thanks so much.

Take care,
ErinBear

I hate insurance companies and their nosey requests for information! I miss my grandma! I want to hear someone say that they love me. AAAAAAAAAA! HeHe! I would rather do it out loud. But, I suspect the police would be on me for that one. Why do I worry about everything? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Stomp! Stomp!
